Captain Liam and I are very excited about this year's 33rd Annual Texas Renaissance Festival.  Two of our crew have jumped ship.  Jess is moving to the plains of Oklahoma and Matt is enjoying his family and his own shop in Georgia.  We wish them the best of luck!  We'll have some new faces this year for you to get to know and harrass.  The rest of us will be back and giving you guys a boatload of  fun.

We're getting quite a number of new items into the shop this year.  We'll be featuring weapons from 'Serenity', 'Eragon' and 'Harry Potter' in our bow.  You'll find an expanded selection of Asian weapons in our stern. We'll also have some very nice high end Katanas for you to paw and fawn over.  We're also expanding our bodice dagger line to include some jeweled daggers and hair weapons.  We will also have pirate cutlasses, hangers and daggers to outfit entire ship loads of brigands.  We have expanded our selection of Pirate Specials and have specials planned for every weekend to include the weekly theme.  Halloween Grab Bags and Christmas Stockings will be back.  And as always, we will have our daily auction and giveaway at 4:00!

We are also pleased to announce the formation of a Pirates Cove Fan Club.  We are still deciding on a name.  We have narrowed it down to either "The Brethren of the Cove" or "The Rum Runners".  An official announcement will be made on September 16th.  We are trying to plan some cool events and prizes for our Fan Club Members.  So come in, make your mark on our in shop guest book, join me as a friend on Ren Space, or join us as a friend on MySpace at www.myspace.com/piratescovetrf

If you're lucky, you'll be able to jump in on a 'Mutiny Special', join in on Pirate Nap Time  or get struck by a 'Rouge Wave'.  And watch out if our crew has chalk.  That never ends well!
